Staff member Neil was extremely attentive and efficient and very pleasant! Excellent service! The hotel was in an excellent location for the airport and we were pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the hotel was. Food in Katherine's pub was good as was the service by our bartender (sorry I can't remember his name). Overall a very pleasant experience after much driving around Ireland - it was a very nice place to stay at the end of our trip.
Check out took a bit longer than what we expected - not sure why - but it was early in the AM (6:30ish) and we were anxious to get to the airport without any delays. All worked out well though.
We thought it was very nice. People were helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. It was a perfect locaation to get to the airport. Breakfast was good and we ate dinner there and it was good too.
Very comfortable hotel in a lovely setting in the charming village of Bunratty
The proximity to the Bunratty Castle was most important.
due to a booking error we were upgraded to a beautiful room. Food excellent and relaxing spar
We were very pleased with our weekend break at Bunratty Castle Hotel. It is an ideal location for us being just one hour drive from Galway. The staff were very helpful, the food was excellent and really good value for money. The leisure center was most enjoyable and on our return again this year we hope to avail of the excellent spa facilities that are available there. I have highly recommended this hotel to both family and friends and know that they intend to stay there in the near future on our recommendations. Looking forward already to our next weekend break at Bunratty Castle hotel.
I had a lovely spacious room, very comfortable bed and the following morning I had a fantastic breakfast.
Loved the Atmosphere, the surroundings, the shops, all of it!!!
It was comfortable, with a large full irish breakfast and the Bunratty Castle was literally across the street. Blarney castle was also only 15 minutes by car.
It was a Castle in Name only. A little deceiving as it is just a Hotel Next to the Bunratty Castle. It was also a little Bizaar to walk out of the Hotel in the morning to find it surrounded by Police Tape and Officers as an early morning shooting took place at an overnite wedding reception :(
WE had an early flight back to the US the following day and Bunratty was a very convenient location for us. Our room was very nice but would have liked more TV channels available to us in the room. We had an excellent experience at the Creamery and enjoyed the Castle. Over all you get very high marks from us. Thanks, H. Waddington
Too few channels on TV....We are in the 21st century!!!
We used Bunratty Castle Hotel as a base to see the Cliffs of Moher and surrounding area and of course Bunratty Castle. This was a perfect location. The hotel is beside Bunratty Castle and the Folk Village and was about a 30 min. Drive to the Cliffs. Bunratty Castle Hotel is very nice in a lovely setting and the food was very good. No complaints.
Excellent hotel and facilities, nice large rooms, and spa facility and gym very good. Food great and location spot on.
Would have been nice to have WIFI Available in the rooms rather than in lobby
Convenience to Shannon Airport for an early morning flight. Did wish for ability to use a shuttle (at our request) to get to the airport. Their shuttles only ran 3 times a day, and it not coordinate to our 7 AM flight.
The lack of a shuttle service on request, or hourly.
Very well located, easy walk to Bunratty Castle.
Room air conditioning did not work. We complained to reception twice but no-one took any notice. Breakfast was ordinary and breakfast staff were more interested in chatting to each other than looking after guests.
Professional staff that were extremely helpful in making our stay memorable and happy. Value for our money. We had a delicious evening meal at the Pomodoro Italian Restaurant and two great irish breakfasts
I could not find anything to complain about Bunratty Castle
